Organisers behind a collaborative, crowd-sourced poem to mark the UN International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, were thrilled to receive submissions from across Norfolk.
To take part in the digital project, contributors read a single line from the poem โWe Refugeesโ by Benjamin Zephaniah. Once all of the submissions had been collected, including lines from Norfolk Schools of Sanctuary, such as Notre Dame High School and Garboldisham Primary, they were edited together to create the final piece.
Ancient House Museum in Thetford worked in partnership with Thetford Town of Sanctuary, Norfolk Museums of Sanctuary, Leaping Hare and Aid Matters UK to organise this project.
