Our Faith Stream is led by Marie-Lyse Numuhoza, a refugee from the Rwandan genocide who is now a lay canon for Norwich Cathedral. Through their outreach work, the Faith Stream has 4 churches looking to become Churches of Sanctuary, including Norwich Cathedral which has included this goal in its five year plan.

The Faith Stream is in the process of contacting all meeting places of faith in the city. They can offer talks about the City of Sanctuary movement. They have already spoken to the Norwich Interfaith Link, and the Anglican community of clergy and hope to include the Quakers and Methodists soon. They welcome new volunteers to help them promote the City of Sanctuary movement. The Octagon Chapel was one of the first organisations to become a Place of Sanctuary with Norwich City of Sanctuary.
