Norwich Arts Stream was established in 2018.
The Arts Stream is managed by a steering group made up of local artists and representatives from organisations and groups including The Common Lot, Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich Theatre, Norfolk Library Services and UEA. All members share a passionate belief that art has the power to inspire positive social change, and play a key role in creating a culture of welcome.

Both Norwich Theatre and The Common Lot Theatre Company have gained our Sanctuary Award and have embedded the ethos behind the award into their day-to-day practice. They are both excellent examples of organisations who fully support the work we do to make Norwich a welcoming place for newcomers.
