Two of Norwich’s theatres have gained their ‘Theatre of Sanctuary’ awards – Norwich Arts Centre and Norwich Theatre, which includes the Playhouse and Stage Two. Both have provided their venues free of charge and included a diverse range of theatre productions, including acting opportunities for refugees, in their programmes. They are supporting our Arts Stream and helping five further theatres that are working towards becoming ‘Theatres of Sanctuary’: Norwich Puppet Theatre, Sheringham Little Theatre, The Common Lot Theatre Company, Curious Directive and The Garage.
